Features and Specifications:
- Material: HRS bar stock
- 15 stations on 5” spacing (first station at each end is 1” in)
- Tip groove depth tapers from .020 to .128 when closed (60-degree groove)
- Butt groove depth tapers from .055 to .163 when closed (60-degree groove)
- Each bar is 1.13” high by .93” wide, yielding a wide stable planing platform 1.86” wide when the forms are completely closed
- Our forms utilize PEAK’s “quick adjust” taper setting design. Our unique system combines the “pull screw” and the “push screw,” or separating force, onto a common center axis. The push action is provided by a heavy duty die spring mounted concentrically about the pull screw. The die spring provides force to spread the forms, so turning just the pull screw will accomplish adjustment in as well as out, reducing the time spent on the taper set process. In the event that a change in strip dimension is particularly abrupt, our forms include traditional push screws as well. Comfort grip T-handle wrenches are provided with each set of forms.
